Aston Martin to debut bespoke DB11 by Q at Geneva

Personalisation service has turned its hand to the DB11; will go on show alongside Vanquish S and AM-RB 001

Aston Martin will have plenty on its stand at the Geneva Motor Show to make petrolheads drool, with the latest Vanquish S going on display next to the firm’s most ambitious project yet – the AM-RB 001 hypercar. However the other part of Aston’s display is more about posing than performance – it’s the latest offering from the company’s bespoke personalisation service – Q by Aston Martin.

On display at the show will be a new DB11, finished in a glorious deep ‘Zafre Blue’ paint finish. It’s complemented by additional carbon fibre details on the front splitter, sills, rear diffuser, bonnet blades and the door mirror caps. Even more carbon fibre can be found on the engine cover and wheel caps.

Inside, the Q DB11 is swathed in Obsidian Black Semi-Aniline leather, with embossed Q by Aston Martin logos on the headrests. And for a weekend away in style, customers can even buy a colour-matched four-piece luggage set.

Aston Martin is keen to promote the latest service offered by its Q division, which it calls ‘Commission’. Aston decribes the process as one that ‘starts with a conversation and ends with a car’ – a truly bespoke model which can feature unique design elements chosen by owners.

It’s similar to the service offered by other top luxury brands like Rolls-Royce, and if those manufacturer programmes are anything to go by, the sky is the limit to what Q by Aston Martin can create.
