Lancia Delta Integrale Evo video

evo's boss Harry Metcalfe talks us round his latest buy - a yellow Lancia Delta Integrale Evo II Giallo Ginestra

The Lancia Delta Integrale is regarded as one of the greatest hot hatchbacks ever. And evo’s boss – Harry Metcalfe – has just bought one. Here he talks us through his gorgeous yellow example, one of just 220 Giallo Ginestra special editions which benefited from the eye-catching paint on top of typical 215bhp, 231lb ft four-wheel-drive Evo II mechanicals.

Harry didn’t have an easy time finding a car; its 1994 list price of £25,000 placed it £7500 pricier than the equally powerful Subaru Impreza Turbo, so UK cars are scarce and imports are the typical path to a good example. This Integrale lived in Japan – helping it to its rust-free condition – and has covered a scant 33,000 miles.
